MAKE-up guru Lauren Luke doesn't have far to travel for work when she gets up in the morning.
The mum-of-one runs a global business from a computer in her bedroom, in Birchington Avenue, South Shields, selling make-up on eBay and posting video beauty tips on Internet giant YouTube.

YouTube, owned by Google, says it will put adverts on the most popular channels, and with more than 2.3 million hits in five months, Ms Luke's
certainly falls into that cate-gory.
Her 105 clips, each about 10-minutes long, have already attracted the attention of two prominent make-up companies – Stila Cosmetics and Barry M – who have both asked Ms Luke to use their equipment in her videos, and review the products for them.
Ms Luke, who has a nine-year-old son, Jordan, and studies Make-Up and Cosmetics at South Tyneside College one evening a week, said: "I can't believe how far its all come in such a short space of time. It's been incredible.
"I just started doing it a year ago when I was sick of doing jobs I wasn't interested in, so I decided to do something I'm passionate about."
Twelve months ago, Ms Luke packed in her job as a barmaid and bought hundreds of make-up products to sell on Internet auction site eBay.
But after a few months, she had hundreds of customers asking her for advice about how to apply the make-up.
"I first made videos because so many people didn't know how to put the make-up on properly," she added.
"Then I started to show people how to apply it so they can look like famous people, which is when it really took off."
Her most popular video explains how to achieve a look modelled by former X Factor winner, Leona Lewis, which has been viewed 750,000 times.
Ms Luke was one of the first YouTube users in the UK to be asked to join its partner scheme, whereby an advert will appear at the bottom of the creator's screen for 10 seconds, and if it is clicked on by a visitor, they will receive a portion of the revenue created.
Asked about her future, Ms Luke said: "Right now, I'm just happy to be doing what I love, and because I work from home I can see my boy all the time when he gets back from school.
"I'm passionate about helping people, and there's a lot of people out there who want advice about make-up. Who knows where it will all end up."
