ENIGMATIC entertainer Lenny Kravitz was simply breathtaking in one of the best gigs I've seen in a long time.
He and his amazing band owned the room from the beginning to the end of a fantastic two-hour set.
It was like the Grammy award winner had never been away as he put on a show filled with outstanding vocals and flawless playing.
As they worked their way through some of his greatest hits, the two hours seemed to fly by in about 10 minutes.
Not once did they lose the crowd's attention, even during a rendition of I'll Be Waitin' which must have lasted 20 minutes.
The Krav played to the crowd like he was headlining Glastonbury, and it's been a long time since I felt so awestruck at a gig.
Songs from his sensational back catalogue, including Are You Gonna Go My Way, Fly Away, and his very first hit, Let Love Rule, went down a storm, and provided the base for an unforgettable performance.
But the show-stopping American Woman, made famous by the second Austin Powers movie, topped the lot.
The man known as Romeo Blue certainly lived up to his nickname, and I for one fell in love with him.
