A STUDENT died after taking a Chinese herbal medicine for a minor illness, an inquest heard.
Ling "Carrie" Wang, 25, who was living in Spital Tongues, died after taking the traditional remedy for stomach upsets and a skin rash, an inquest heard.

She was admitted to the Freeman Hospital, where she fell into a coma and died after her liver and other internal organs failed. A verdict of misadventure was recorded.
