AMONG the VIP guests at our Out Of This World fashion show, Tyne Tees Models' scouts will be in the audience looking for our Face of 2009.
Company boss Lesley Lister thinks all our would-be models are stars and in with a chance of being crowned winner.

She said: "We had some really eye-catching girls come into this year's castings.

"I think the girls are going to be on top form because there is some really great potential in the group. I have my eyes on the boys as well."

Last year's winner Kelsey Purvis has gained confidence from her new-found career.

The 16-year-old Face of 2008 winner is looking forward to this year's show once again, and now she's finished school could be working a lot more.

Ms Lister added: "We are hoping to give a real push to her modelling career now her exams are over.

"Hopefully this next year will see a good step forward for Kelsey."

Tyne Tees Models was established in 1995 by Ms Lister, and has developed from a small local business into a large company representing more than 2,000 faces through out the UK.

Ms Lister added: "I'm really looking forward to this year. It's going to be so much fun. It's going to be another exciting year and another tough decision."

Out of this World is on at the Customs House in South Shields, on July
13 and 14.

It will raise cash for the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund
and Cancer Connections.

Out of This World is being sponsored by Thompsons Solicitors, Asda in Boldon, Colmans, Barbour, and Smithson Jewellers with Nomination Jewellery.

Tickets are £10, including a goody bag, and prizes are up for grabs.
For tickets and further details of the show, call the Customs House box office on 454 1234.
