PUB regulars have continued their fundraising tradition on behalf of St Clare's Hospice.
Each year, staff and customers at the Simonside Arms in Newcastle Road, South Shields, raise hundreds of pounds for the hospice in Primrose Terrace, Jarrow.
A total of £833 was collected recently after sponsored pool and darts marathons at the pub.
Pub manager Alan Foggon said: "Val English, one of our bar staff, organises fundraising events for the hospice every year.
"And we also raise money in memory of Peter Peel, one of our former regulars.
"I must again thank our staff and all our regulars for their continued support."
