MOST students who attend end-of-year Proms know they'll see many of their friends again in September.

Whether they go to sixth form or head off to college, chances are they'll bump into lots of their old classmates.

Not so for these Year 13 leavers from St Joseph's RC Comp at Hebburn - school really is out for them.

To celebrate, they held their Prom at Newcastle Civic Centre - and we're sure you'll agree they looked great.

Some of the pictures featured here are included in our special free Proms pullout in tomorrow's Gazette (July 15).

But you can order copies of any of them by filling in the form which you'll find in the paper, or by visiting Photos Today here.

* And don't miss our special slideshow of Proms pictures sent in by readers, only here at www.shieldsgazette.com later this week.
