Faustino is one of the UK's favourite Spanish wines. This Autumn, two of its top red wines come in limited edition packs from Asda and make a fine gift. Look out for the familiar Faustino portraits.

Faustino I is around £14.99 and Faustino V is £9.99.

The cases will include these 2 specified wines plus others in the Faustino range - perfect to enjoy throughout Christmas.

Tempranillo grapes create full-bodied flavours to accompany warming casseroles and Sunday roasts. For food matching ideas and recipes visit http://www.cellartrends.co.uk/foodmatching.php

Faustino's vineyards are located in the upper part of Rioja Alavesa, Northern Spain, and enjoy the best geographical conditions and climate to produce the highest quality wines: short, hard winters, with lime clay soil, land characterised by foothills, gorges and hillsides, neither too much nor too little sunlight - and finally, enjoying an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres.

Faustino I Gran Reserva is a rich and elegant Rioja to linger over. It is aged for at least 2½ years in American and French oak barrels, and 3 years in bottle to give great length and finish.

Faustino V Reserva is aged for up to 1½ years in cask and 2 years in bottle for mellow smoothness.

Faustino also makes lighter styles of red, white and rosé. Its elegant, crisp white wine is ideal to partner with chicken or turkey. Viura grapes are used.
