Every week the lucky winner of the text-in competition - exclusive to readers of The Shields Gazette - will get:

To enter, all you have to do is get your Gazette on a Wednesday and turn to the centre pages of Tyne Out, where each week you will find a competition code-word.

Using that code-word, send a TEXT message to 81800, following this format: GZBIG (space) CODE-WORD (space) YOUR DAYTIME TELEPHONE NUMBER.

Your message must reach us before 9am each Thursday, and must contain the code-word to qualify for the Big Night Out prize draw.

We’ll pick a weekly winner at random, who will be contacted by our promotional partner, Actual Leisure, before noon on Thursday, to arrange their Big Night Out.

Messages cost 25p in addition to the standard network charge and your details will be shared with the Actual Leisure group of companies.

They will then get to browse the stands, visualise their wedding ceremony taking place in the elegant Old Hall or glass-roofed Victorian Orangery – which will be set up as if to host a civil wedding – then sit back and relax while etc puts on a glittering catwalk show.

The event will take place from 11am to 5pm, with visitors being allocated one of three times slots.
