Deadly mix of ice and idiocy
I REALLY have encountered the dregs of society on the roads this week.
The first eye-opener was two drivers who simply hadn't bothered to fully clear their windscreens – one had cleared the driver's side perfectly and left the other half, while the other had cleared a patch for her eyes to peer out of!
It really is sickening to know that the pair were driving with limited vision while youngsters were doing the school run in horrendous conditions.
I'd just digested their idiotic behaviour, only to be subjected to more moronic drivers who were still tailgating in the thick ice and snow.
I just want to say to all you thick-heads out there, who can't seem to grasp the fact, that dangerous drivers kill. It really is that simple.
If you haven't got a clear screen and can't be bothered to wipe it, then stay at home.
And if you must tailgate then make sure the only person you harm is yourself and no one else.
Every single pedestrian has a right to walk about and be safe, no matter how bad the weather, and it is up to drivers to be responsible while they are behind the wheel.
If they can't, then they shouldn't be driving at all.
You could have a million speed bumps, but while folk of this mentality are driving, there will most certainly be fatalities.
