Hunting in public spaces
I AM writing in response to Debbie Collins's letter regarding hunting with air rifles.
I was not talking about hunting animals on private land by professionals and farmers – I am against adults and, often kids, shooting animals on council and National Trust land.
They do not kill the animals humanely, they hunt them down and let their dogs maul them.
There have been recent stories of rabbits hung in trees and cats attacked in our streets as these people return from hunting with their pack of dogs.
Normal law-abiding people do not wish to witness such things.
