Tuning in to radio's past
SEEING the advances in radio today, I know many folk will remember my cousin, John Tyzack, who played a great part in radio in his day.
When my sisters and I used to visit my aunt’s home, we used to get a great thrill when John used to allow us to talk to his friends in foreign parts.
I expect there is still a radio club in Shields.
