A PERSONAL trainer is launching Boldon’s first-ever early-morning fitness camp.

Fitness fanatic Paul West’s Team Eclipse Fit Camp starts on Monday in a secret location in Boldon Colliery.

Those who sign up to the first class – which is almost full, and lasts 28 days – will find out where they are going on the opening morning.

The 31-year-old, from Boldon Colliery, said: “There are plenty of boot camps that take place on the seafront and they’re great, but living in Boldonw I realised there was no one near here that ran a similar thing.

“I’ve been a qualified personal trainer for about 18 months, and have been working as a trainer at some of the other camps while doing one-to-one sessions as well. But when I got the idea for a camp in Boldon, I decided to go it alone.

“The spot I have for it is great, but I’m keeping the location close to my chest in case any one else comes along in the meantime and nabs it.

“I want to get people feeling much better.

“I’m not in it for making lots of money, but to help get people in Boldon fit.”

Mr West has come up with a 28-day plan that he says is guaranteed to get people in shape.

The sessions will run from 6am every day, so people have time to take part before work.

The former Boldon Comprehensive School pupil added: “They will be enjoyable group sessions which will really kick-start people’s days.

“They have been specifically designed to get the best out of those taking part in every session, and after 28 days, people will look and feel much better about themselves. No one will have to starve themselves or count calories, and their bodies will still be burning calories for up to 36 hours after the sessions.

“It is possible to get rid of a stone of unwanted excess body fat during one 28-day course.”

The former postman is also offering a 100 per cent money back guarantee for those not satisfied with how they look or feel at the end of one course.

He said: “If anyone is not over the moon with the effects, I’ll give people their money back.

“All I ask is they back off alcohol, get rid of sugary snacks, sleep more, train every week, and try to de-stress – and people will feel incredible.”
