On behalf of the candidates from South Tyneside Green Party who stood in the recent local elections, I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us.
Many people are already going green without realising it.
They are prudent and recycle and re-use their shopping bags.
They want better public services protected from the ravages of privatisation, they want to travel on clean and safe public transport, and they want a world which will be fit to leave to our children.
The Green Party is unique in recognising the relationship between the environment, economy, our health, our well-being and, most importantly, our future.
