Close call in Biddick and All Saints
INDEPENDENT Steve Pattison failed by 10 votes to snatch Biddick and All Saints from Labour.
He is an active active member of Biddick Hall Residents' Association and has campaigned against plans to build a hotel and conference centre on Gypsies Green Stadium.
Mr Pattison was up against Anne Walsh, who stood for Labour after Joe Kidd stood down after 14 years as ward councillor.
And she just managed to retain the seat, polling 758 votes to Mr Pattison's 748.
