Deputy mayor wins Cleadon Park contest

DEPUTY Mayor Coun Alex Donaldson can look forward to a year as the borough's first citizen after successfully contesting Cleadon Park.
The Labour councillor had a reasonably smooth ride in Cleadon Park, whose £90m transformation he has been heavily involved with.
