ONE of the UK's best-selling boy bands have announced their first arena tour in seven years, including a date on Tyneside.
Boyzone will play at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on June 17 next year as part of their Back Again: No Matter What tour.
It will see all five original members - Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy - perform together for the first time since they played Dublin's Point Depot on January 13, 2000.
Tickets for the tour, priced £32.50, go on sale at 9am on Monday (November 19), from (0844) 493 6666.
The boys are getting back together on Friday for an exclusive television
appearance in support of BBC's Children In Need.
And Keating admitted: "We've been talking about getting back together for some time now.
"The Children In Need rehearsals just made us want to tour together again.
"I can't wait to be back on the road and all the guys feel
the same.
"Our live shows were always great fun but this time it will
definitely be the best night out ever!"
