SOUTH Shields Raiders are looking good in the Under-10s Division One.
They kept their unbeaten run going with a 5-1 win over Chuter Ede Hurricanes.
Carrick netted well for Chuter, while goals from Green and doubles from Booth and Armstrong was enough to give Raiders the spoils.
Hurricanes' keeper Tyrie was awarded man of the match for his side.
Jarrow Vikings moved up into second spot after a comfortable 6-0 win over Jarrow Fellagte.
Goals from Taylor, Malone and doubles each from Court and Stobbs secured the points.
Melia was the hero for Hebburn Town Devils, bagging the only goal of a tight match against Leam Rangers, to cap a good team performance from the Hebburn side.
Keeper Evans was in cracking form for the Devils.
South Shields Jags Cubs scored a fine 4-1 win over Consett Saracens.
Sullivan netted well for the Durham side, but goals from Sutcliffe, Brownswood, Lowdon and Singh completed the scoring.
South Shields Jaguars went top after a 3-1 win over Hebburn Town Demons.
Hetherington was on the mark for Hebburn, but goals from Scott and a double from Farnsworth kept up the great start to the season for the Jags.
Whiteleas Celtic recorded their second win of the season when they defeated South Tyneside Athletic 2-0.
On the scoresheet were Payne and Langley in a very entertaining match, with Millwater getting the star man vote.
An evenly-matched game in the U10s Premier Division saw South Shields Tigers grab the points with a 2-1 win over Monkton Mavericks, who put up a good show.
Tigers scored first when a fantastic strike from Hewitt from outside the box screamed into the top corner.
However, a good goal from substitute Forrester brought the Mavericks level.
With seconds left, another cracking goal from Hudson from 25 yards secured the points for the Shields lads.
Wrekenton Nou Camp stay top and remain unbeaten, but they had to fight all the way against a gallant Hebburn Wanderers. A goal from Wilson was enough to seal the victory.
Castle Park have started the season off well and moved into second spot after their excellent 4-2 win over South Tyneside Spirit.
Nee and McDonald took their chances well for Spirit, but goals from Parry, Tones and Wilkinson (2) wrapped up the win for the Sunderland lads.
South Shields Youth took on St Cuthbert's in a high-scoring game of two halves.
The Saints got off to a flier when a brilliant run from David Latham saw him beat three defenders and play a one-two with Wilson before netting.
The Shields lads were stunned as Cuthbert's quickly added a second when Latham fired home again.
This spurred Shields into action and Costello scored a good goal to bring it to 2-1, which was quickly followed by a good goal from Williams to bring the game level.
Just before the break, the Saints went back in front with a brilliant free-kick from Seccombe, who fired home from outside the box.
However, Shields levelled once more as Costello fired in his second to make it 3-3 at the break.
In the second half, it was all Shields, and further goals from Hodgson, a hat-trick from Wilson and Costello – who finished the game with four goals – helped Youth win an extraordinary match 8-3.
Monkton Hurricanes scored a great 7-2 victory over Jarrow Terriers. Lumley bagged a superb hat-trick, along with a couple from Scott driving forward from the centre of midfield.
Pyle and Rowe completed the scoring for the Hurricanes, with goals from Bingham and Wildgoose keeping the hard-working Terriers in the game for long periods.
