Anti-smoking whingers

I FEEL I have to write in reply to a number of letters recently, regarding the closure of pubs and clubs.
It is true that over the last year or so we have seen a decline in the number of people going out to such establishments.

I believe this is mainly due to the prices, and these places not offering people what they want.

But I think it was the smoking ban that was the straw which broke the camel's back.

Personally, it doesn't bother me.

I occasionally smoke a pipe in the comfort and privacy of my own home, usually on my own.

I do object though, when the anti-smoking brigade call smokers whingers.

It's strange because when they speak up against smokers, they are just voicing their opinion.

I have said my piece, like it or not.
