AM I the only person in this town to be disgusted at former Independent councillor Allen Branley lining up an attempt to stand for election again in the Westoe ward in South Shields?
He and his wife have now been kicked off the council three times between them for failing to turn up for meetings.

After such an appalling track record, Mr Branley and the Independent Alliance he was part of should be debarred from standing for election in future.

The people of Westoe do not deserve to be saddled with an absentee landlord again.

Graham Rigg,
Collingwood Street,
South Shields.
