SO a Tory think tank says we should all up sticks and move south.
Who do they think they're kidding?
This part of North East England has fine countryside and an even finer coastline, with mile after mile of golden sands and spotlessly clean beaches.

They are some of the best beaches in the UK, if not the world.

Let me say to these barmy think tankers – get a life and don't spout on about something you know nothing about.

Come and look before you say anything. Then, when you've seen and marvelled at it, skedaddle out of it.

You're not wanted or needed here, that's for sure.

You are the very people who wrecked Tyneside in the first place, but we are the people who are making a fine recovery.

Avon Road,
Hebburn.
