IT came as a great shock to see one of the finest leaders of South Tyneside Council for many years deposed in the recent local elections.
It's to be hoped the person who replaces him is a fraction as good.

Anyway, please let me say a very big thanks to you Paul Waggott for your great service to South Tyneside and its people.
