Could I please say a big thank you to everyone who came to my husband Willy Wilson's 60th birthday party at the Top Club in South Shields in May and, instead of buying him a birthday drink, put money into a bucket for Cancer Connections' buy-a-brick appeal.
When we counted out the money, our family and friends had "bought drinks" to the value of £120.58. Good luck with the bricks.

Lilian Wilson.
