SIXTIES star Gerry Marsden has pulled out of a South Tyneside gig.

Gerry Cross The Mersey – which featured legendary singer Marsden – was due to take place at the Customs House on Saturday.

But the show has now been rescheduled for Sunday, June 10, due to the singer suffering from a throat infection.

All tickets remain valid, but customers are advised to call the Box Office on 454 1234 if they are unable to attend the new date.

Customs House executive director, Ray Spencer MBE, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this postponement may cause.”
