Today we’ve got a selection of photos from the 70s and 80s, that reveal how some things haven’t changed despite the passing years.

Not only are we still trying to lose weight (how has watching your weight changed over the years?), we’re also, sadly, still collecting cans and other foodstuffs for those who can’t afford to pay for the weekly shop.

On a cheerier note, youngsters continue to enjoy the boy scout lifestyle, and, as with these youngsters, head off on day trips and camps.

Also, hardy souls are still “pushing the boat out” for good causes by taking part in raft races up and down the North East coast.
