Here’s a selection of photos that we posted on Facebook recently, and which I wanted to share with you today.

They range from cup-winning young footballers to fund-raising pupils who helped provide a bus to transport disabled people to Lourdes.

A special ambulance, called an 'Alligator' used to carry disabled people to Lourdes was on display at St Wilfrid's School in March 1986.. Pupils helped raised money towards buying it.

How many of the students from St Joseph’s and St Wilfrid’s schools do you recognise? Also, can you put a name to the chap working at Eskimo Slippers in October 1958 or the lady behind the cake counter in Fawcetts’ shop on The Nook?
