ALBUM OF THE WEEK
BIFFY CLYRO
Only Revolutions
(14th Floor Records)

BIFFY Clyro seem to have been on the verge of greatness for ages, and this, their fifth studio album, should finally propel them into the big league.
Their quiet-loud formula often sees them dubbed 'the Scottish Foo Fighters', and on this evidence they can be every bit as big as Dave Grohl's band.

The singles Mountains, The Captain and That Golden Rule stand out, but for me the best track is the more contemplative God & Satan. Great stuff. 8/10. GW
