NEWCASTLE United fans reckon jailed Joey Barton should be handed a second chance and not sacked by the club's hierarchy, according to the results of our latest web poll.
The former Man City midfielder's St James's Park future is in some doubt after he was jailed for six month's on Tuesday after admitting charges of assault and affray following a late night attack in Liverpool in December.

Toon boss Kevin Keegan is reportedly ready to stand by his man, while it is widely rumoured the club's board want to get rid of the player, capped once by England.
