Four in court over drugs conspiracy

FOUR people are due before magistrates today charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
The arrests come following a series of police raids on properties across South Tyneside this week.

Officers have so far recovered heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, cannabis and Ecstasy.

The operation is part of the Home Office's National Tackling Drugs Week.

Andrew McKay, 46, of Baring Street, Simon Gudgeon, 29, of Gresford Street, Joseph White, 32, and Kerry Warburton, 25, both of Beach Road, all South Shields, are due before South Tyneside Magistrates' Court.
