House blast teen lucky to be alive
A TEENAGER from the region thought to have been targeted in a house explosion is lucky to be alive.
Charlotte Anderson was badly burned after her home was blown up, last Wednesday night, by a girl gang following a row over a love rival.
The 17-year-old who lived in Harrow, north London, could now be scarred for life after the explosion, which killed her next-door neighbour.
Her mum Elaine Leonard, 41, from Cramlington, Northumberland, has travelled from her home to be at Charlotte's bedside.
The teenager moved to the city eight years ago when she was placed into foster care. A murder inquiry has been launched.
