SUNDERLAND Football Club boss Roy Keane is backing striker Michael Chopra in his bid to sort out his personal problems.
The £5m buy is reported to have gone into rehab for a week-long stint.

The 24-year-old is said to be staying at the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire for a week.

Keane said: "We are helping Michael as he deals with some personal issues, and he has the full support of everyone at the club."

Chopra has a six-month old son with wife Heather Swan, 24.

There have been reports of problems with their relationship since the pair married in June, and police were called out to an incident involving Chopra at a house in Newcastle this week.
