TOOTHY Kia is desperate for a companion to play football with.

The Labrador Pointer cross has been living at West Hall Kennels, Cleadon, for the last three weeks.

Kia, is only one year old and full of energy. Although he's rather lean, the boisterous pooch can be very strong on the lead and will need someone fit to keep him under control.

Sarah Wilkinson, the kennels' manager, said: "Kia would be ideal for a family with older teenagers who'll take him down to the beach or to the park for a kickabout with a football."

If you would like to give Kia a home, or any of the other dogs at the kennels, call 529 2369.
