Man arrested over house break-in

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a South Tyneside home.
Police were called to Spohr Terrace in Westoe, South Shields, after a burglar forced his way into the property through a window.
Cash and computer games were stolen during the raid which happened at 10.50pm on Sunday.
A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is now helping officers with their inquiries.
