Man confronted intruders

A MAN returned to his flat to find two intruders inside.
The 29-year-old resident of Trinity Walk, in Laygate, South Shields, entered his home at about 2.20pm on Thursday, where he discovered the two men. When he asked them to leave, they did, and nothing was reported stolen.

They were both described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and about 25 years old.

One was wearing a dark jumper and tracksuit bottoms, light-coloured trainers and had short blond hair.

The other wore a dark tracksuit, with light trainers and was more tanned, with short dark hair.

Anyone with information, is asked to contact police on 03456 043 043.
