A CANCER charity is looking for competitors to take part in this year's Great North Run.
Marie Curie Cancer Care's Daffodil Runs team is looking for runners for the half-marathon, which ends in South Shields.
A spokesman said: "By running in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, you are enabling people who are terminally ill with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses to be cared for in the comfort of their own homes or at our Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle.
"All our services are free thanks to the help of our supporters, so if you want to make a difference to people here in North East England, pick up the phone now."
To be in with a chance, contact Marie Curie Cancer Care's Daffodil Runs team on 08700 340 040 or e-mail daffodilruns@mariecurie.org.uk.
