Mental health chiefs will probe concerns

HEALTH Trust bosses have reacted to sufferers and families claims they feel they are being let down.
A spokesman for the Trust said patient confidentiality prevented it from commenting in detail on individual cases, but added: "We are committed to providing the best possible care for local people, so we are always concerned to hear about anyone unhappy with the services provided by our hard-working NHS staff.

"Some of the people who have spoken to the Gazette have already been in touch with us, and we are thoroughly investigating their concerns in line with the NHS complaints procedure.

"Other people have not contacted us, and we would urge them to get in touch.

"We can assure them that we will take their concerns seriously, and carry out a full and thorough investigation into any issues that they may raise."
