Police hunt yobs who hanged puppy

A PUPPY was found hanging by her collar outside a South Tyneside premises.
Police were called to Dean Road, Chichester, South Shields, at 10am on Sunday, after a passer-by spotted the six-month-old dog hanging from a gatepost.

The sandy and black coloured mongrel was found to be breathing but in a distressed state.

She also had injuries to her legs believed to have been caused by trying to free herself.

The dog was taken for treatment at the PDSA in Gateshead.
