To close Bedewell Primary and Lukes Lane Primary Schools from August 31, 2012, and establish a new 420-place school at a yet-to-be-determined site by September 1, 2012.

Proposals to close Boldon Church of England School from August, 2009, are deferred.

Close Harton Infant and Harton Junior Schools from August 31, 2010, and establish a 630-place primary school on the current site by September 1, 2010.

Close Hedworthfield Primary and Fellgate Primary Schools from August 31, 2015, and establish a new 315-place primary school on the site of the former Hedworthfield Comprehensive by September 1, 2015.

Close Lord Blyton Primary, Monkton Infants and Juniors from August 31, 2014, and establish a new 420-place primary school, on the current Lord Blyton site by September 1, 2014.

Deferred until the autumn term is a proposal to close St Bede's RC Primary School, and to co-locate it with Jarrow Cross C of E Primary School. Proposals for Clervaux Nursery are removed.
