Thieves fly off with rare budgies

RARE budgies are among £600 worth of birds stolen from a Jarrow shed.
A total of 18 budgies were taken in the theft which happened overnight on March 14 on the Hedworth estate, but details of the crime have just been released.

A nest box was also stolen.

The three-rare birds are described as violet and white in colour.
