A NEW boss has taken over a South Tyneside enterprise agency after a shake-up.
Carole White has assumed the role of head of business and operations at Tedco.
Mrs White, the agency’s former business development manager, takes over the helm from chief executive Doug Scott, who after the successful merger of Tedco and the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) earlier this year, will head up the newly-named Tedco Business Support Ltd branch of the business.
Named because of the importance of business support to sustained business growth, the agency will continue to provide a focus for anyone wishing to launch their own firm.
Mrs White said: “This is a really exciting time for the business and I am very much looking forward to working with the advisers in order to develop our existing range of services.”
In addition to offering business support expertise, Tedco will continue to deliver the Ready for Business programme in the region, which to date has helped create 227 jobs since its launch in summer 2012.
