The following people have been dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court:

Kelly Bonner, 30, of Gainsborough Avenue, South Shields, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Station Road, South Shields, on Saturday, July 23.

She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.

Amber Dunn, 18, of Westmorland Road, South Shields, was given a 12-month community order and was ordered to pay a total of £100 compensation after admitting two counts of assault on Friday, July 22 in South Shields. She must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £85 victim surcharge.

Robert Graham, 31, of Renoir Gardens, Whiteleas, South Shields, was given a 12-month community order and was banned from driving for 25 months after admitting driving with excess alcohol on Whiteleas Way, South Shields, on Wednesday, May 18. He was also ordered to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Ian Ivory, 48, of Princess Gardens, Seaburn, was fined £440 and ordered to pay £200 compensation after admitting two assaults in Ocean Road, South Shields, on Sunday, July 24

He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £44 victim surcharge.

He was given no separate penalty for a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on the same date.

Andrew James, 50, of Gainsborough Avenue, South Shields, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Station Road, South Shields, on Saturday, July 23.

Stephen Watson, 47, of Beach Road, South Shields, was fined £60 after admitting being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Galsworthy Road, South Shields, on Friday, July 15. He must also pay costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.
