Appeal after shop windows smashed

Police have launched an appeal for information after the windows of three businesses on a South Tyneside street were smashed.

The windows of businesses L&S Irving Ltd, Tribeca and Breeze, all on Front Street in Boldon, were damaged during the attack at 2.35pm on Wednesday, September 11, with the offender making off from the scene.

A man and a woman, thought to be in their 20s and believed to be having an altercation, were seen in the area at the time of the damages.

Police are keen to speak to them as they may have information to assist with inquiries.

The man was wearing a light grey tracksuit and the woman a black tracksuit top.
