POLICE are investigating following reports that a woman was raped early today.

The incident happened in the women’s toilets of Eazy Street bar in Westmorland Road, Newcastle, at 2.20am today.

The 19-year-old victim, who was in the bar with friends, was attacked by a man when she went to the toilet.

He was described as being in his 20s and of Eastern European appearance, with short, dark, spiky hair, and wearing a black vest top and jeans.
