Cannabis farm find: update

A man has been arrested after police discovered a cannabis farm at two properties in South Tyneside.

Officers found 100 plants during a search of two neighbouring flats in Victoria Road East, Hebburn on Wednesday, January 23.

A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
