CCTV: Newcastle v Chelsea violence suspects

suspects

suspects

POLICE today issued pictures of four men they are seeking in connection with football-related violence after last month’s Newcastle-Chelsea game.

Six men - including a 25-year-old from Jarrow - have already been arrested by officers probing trouble at Raffertys bar in Pink Lane, Newcastle, on February 2.

They have all been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Today, officers released CCTV images of four more people they want to trace in connection with the disorder.

Chief Supintendent Gary Calvert of Newcastle Area Command added: “There are still some people we need to speak to in connection with the incident, and CCTV images have been released in an effort to trace them.

“I’d urge anyone who recognises them, or the men themselves to contact police at the earliest opportunity.”

Anyone who recognises the people in the images is asked to contact police at the earliest opportunity on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
