A MAN accused of attacking a woman will stand trial at crown court.
Jonathan Mackie, 38, also known as Richardson, was at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court facing a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.
He pleaded not guilty and magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case.
Mackie, of Farding Square, South Shields, will appear in Newcastle on March 29. He was granted bail until then.
