Driver set for trial over two motoring charges



A MAN is set for trial later this year after denying two motoring charges.

Adam Tiffin, 20, pleaded not guilty to failing to stop after a road accident and driving without due care and attention when he appeared at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.

Both offences are alleged to have taken place in Ashley Road, South Shields, on Sunday, October 27 last year.

Tiffin, of Tollerton Drive, Sunderland, will be back at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court for the trial on Friday, June 13.

He was granted unconditional bail.
