A MAN accused of growing drugs will have his case heard at crown court.
Christopher Wilson appeared before South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court facing charges of producing Class A and Class B drugs.
As well as allegedly growing cannabis plants, he is said to have been behind the production of DMT – a hallucinogenic white powder.
The 26-year-old entered no pleas and magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case.
Wilson, of Bilton Hall, South Shields, will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on January 17.
He was granted unconditional bail until then.
