FIVE people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a well-known Newcastle United fan.

John ‘The Badge’ Roberts 32, was found dead inside his home in Park Terrace, Winlaton, Gateshead, on Sunday, December 16, last year.

He had died as a result of a serious head injury.
