A MAN accused of growing a cannabis farm will have his case heard at crown court.

Paul Moore was at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court, facing a charge of producing a Class B drug.

Police are said to have found 52 cannabis plants in his home in Hebburn.

The 39-year-old entered no plea, and magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case.

Moore, of Collingwood Street, Hebburn, will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on March 22.

He was granted unconditional bail until then.
