A MAN accused of using racist language in a South Tyneside takeaway will stand trial.
John Fenwick is said to have caused the trouble in a pizza shop in May.
The 50-year-old was at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court facing a charge of using racially aggravated threatening or abusive behaviour.
He pleaded not guilty and will return to court on February 3 for a trial expected to last two days.
Fenwick, of Sherburn Grange North, Jarrow, was granted bail.
